Main Menu Description

1,USB icon: will be activated by plugging USB flash drive into USB cable input and play music and HD video

2,Carplay icon:will change colored if entered Carplay mode

3,Card icon: extended function for future

4,Android icon: will change colored if entered Android auto system

5,Setup icon:

1) Language: you can set 12 common used languages here

2) Information: to check carplay system version info

3) Display: change screen brightness

4) Volume:set carplay system volume(default set to max)

5) Bluetooth:Pairing for wireless carplay(You can change the BT name to whatever you like)

6) TV:No function for the moment, turn OFF!

7) DVR:No function for the moment , turn OFF!

8) REARVIEW:Select guidline for aftermarket camera

9) Smart phone: Select functions here and reboot system if needed

   1) Carlife: used in China, turn OFF!

   2) Android device: Select Android Auto or Auto Link(android mirror)

   3) Apple device: Select Carplay or IOSMirror

   4) Wireless Carplay: Igore

   5) Wireless AndroidAuto: Igore

   6) Reboot: Restart Carplay system

10) Wallpaper: for wallpaper option

11) Update: Carplay software upgrade(please select Complete upgrade )

12) EQ: Audio settings for Music/Video play

13) DVD: No function for the moment ,turn OFF!

14) BT: No function for the moment ,turn OFF!

15) FRONTVIEW: Turn on if add aftermarket front camera, otherwise off

16) Carplay:Enter password”1123”,Select car brand icon and right drive mode

17)Call quality test: Testing phone call quality

How to use CheerBox?

Select AUX on original system media/audio menu,then switch to Cheerbox main menu(according to installation instructions)

Wireless Carplay

Select Setup-Smart phone-Apple device-Carplay

1) Turn on your iphone's wifi, you will find wifi named”WiFi-CP-AP-*******” NO NEED connect it also DON'T connect any other network.

2) Turn on your iphone's Bluetooth, find and click carplay Bluetooth named “IDCORE” will show 

“Bluetooth Pairing Request”-Pair,”Allow Contacts and Favourite Sync?”-Allow,”Use Carplay with IDCORE?”-Use Carplay.

(Noted:If “IDCORE”shows connections, but didn't go to carplay,then click Setup-Bluetooth-Paired device-WiFi Carplay, then iphone will show Use Carplay request)

3) After about 5 seconds,it will enter wireless carplay system, then Enjoying…

Wired Carplay

Select Setup-Smart phone-Apple device-Carplay, then connect iphone with CP_USB cable by original lightning cable

Wired IOSMirror

Select Setup-Smart phone-Apple device- IOSMirror, then connect iphone with CP_USB cable by original lightning cable

Wired Android Auto

Select Setup-Smart phone-Android device-Android Auto, then connect  android phone with CP_USB cable by Android USB cable (click Android apps and download Android Auto apps to your phone screen)

Wired Auto Link

Select Setup-Smart phone-Android device-Auto Link, then connect android phone with CP_USB cable by Android USB cable (click Android apps and download Auto Link app to your phone screen)

USB Flash Player

Select USB on main menu ,then plug your USB flash drive into USB cable input, then HD music and video will play

Wireless CarPlay

1) Plug our ConnectBox into original USB port via cable

2) Select Apple CarPlay icon on original system to enter ConnectBox welcome screen

3) Turn on your iphone’s Bluetooth and WiFi, find and click Bluetooth named 

“ConnectBoxBt” will show “Bluetooth Pairing Request”-Pair,”Allow Contacts and Favourite Sync?”-Allow,”Use CarPlay with Secret?”-Use CarPlay.

4) After about 2-3 seconds,it will enter Wireless CarPlay system, then enjoying…

Tips：Keep your iphone’s WiFi and Bluetooth on before get in car, then you can get wireless CarPlay automatically when ignition on.

Wireless MirrorLink

The first time when you use Wireless MirrorLink function,please use Wireless CarPlay function firstly(check above), then on next time, you can use Wireless MirrorLink function directly.

Situation 1, when you are using Wireless CarPlay

1)  Turn off your iphone’s Bluetooth and WiFi,wait for 5 seconds, then keep Bluetooth off and open WiFi, find and connect WiFi named”ConnectBoxWiFi”

2)  Open your iphone’s ”Screen Mirroring” function,find and click mirroring device named ”8368u-airplay”,keep your iphone in landscape mode and you can use Wireless MirrorLink

Situation 2, you are not using Wireless CarPlay

1)  Keep your iphone’s Bluetooth off and open your iphone’s WiFi, find and connect WiFi named”ConnectBoxWiFi”

2)  Open your iphone’s ”Screen Mirroring” function,find and click mirroring device named ”8368u-airplay”,keep your iphone in landscape mode and you can use Wireless MirrorLink

Noted:Both Wireless CarPlay and Wireless MirrorLink need use WiFi to transfer data, so must keep your iphone’s WiFi on and DON’T connect other networks

CheerBox Trouble Shooting

Q1:Black screen, can't switch to carplay system?

A1:Check all cable connections and dip switch(according to installation diagram)

Q2:When switch back to original system, black screen for seconds?

A2:Check the LVDS cable connections and turn off TV DVD DVR FRONTVIEW on Cheerbox Setup menu

Q3:No sound from carplay system?

A3:Check if AUX cable connected well, select AUX channel before switching to carplay mode (If original system also no sound, then check if you transfer the optic fiber cable when installing)

Q4:Connect and set everything well, but still can't use wireless carplay?

A4:Iphone issue, please power off and on your iphone,then connect again.

Q5:When put in reverse, screen can't show reverse picture(black or no response)?

A5:if your car have original camera(or no camera), then please change dip switch 4 off and 8 on. If you added a aftermarket rear camera, please check our aftermarket camera installation diagram and set dip switch 8 off (all other dip switch settings should be correct according to our installation diagram)

Q6:Screen stuck, can't move smoothly?

A6:Wifi issue,check and close your iphone background working apps, better power off and on your iphone and carplay unit.

Q7:Leave away my car for a while,when come back , found can't get connected carplay?

A7:Keep your iphone's bluetooth and wifi on,click Setup-Bluetooth-Paired device-WiFi Carplay, then it will reconnect carplay.

Q8:Can't connect wireless carplay automatically when get in car and ignition on?

A8:Please keep your iphone's bluetooth and wifi on before get in your car, wifi don't connect any network(including your home network)

How to Reconnect with ConnectBox?

1,Make sure no other iphone already connected with “ConnectBoxBt”.

2,Turn your iphone’s Bluetooth off and on,connect with “ConnectBoxBt” manually.

3,If step 2 doesn’t work,please delete paired device “ConnectBoxBt” and pair again.

4,If still can’t get in wireless carplay, please unplug our ConnecBox and wait for about 30 seconds, then plug back, pair again.

5,After above 4 steps,if you still can’t get wireless carplay, then please turn your iphone off and on,pair again.

6,If you still can’t get wireless carplay after above 5 steps,please contact our tech.
